Portugal Day

Today is a moment to remember a special day: the concert of my favourite group, Portugal. The Man. Also, was an important day for me, because Cage the Elephant, another band that I like very much play too.

One day, when appear the line-up of Lollapalooza I saw that Portugal. The man was in the list, firstly I was very happy, but when I saw the ticket price known that will be impossible, because I was save money for my vacations on January. The situation turns to my favour when I saw in the Facebook page Mercado Negro Uchile that a girl announced a sideshow of the band and will has 2 tickets to sell, inmediatly I made contact with her and the tickets was mine. This day, with the tickets in my hand I was so excited and happy.

The concert was on 30^th March of this year in the Sala Omnium at 23.00, but it supposed that the original start hour was at 22.00. After of the great opening-with “Purple Yellow Red and Blue” one of my favourite songs- they said sorry with us about the delay and expressed the emotion to be in the country for first time.  

For provide a context, Portugal. The Man is an American band, specifically of Alaska, has 10 years play together, 7 studio albums and this years was the first time in Chile.

A special anecdote was that today I have the playlist paper that Kyle O’quinn use this day *-*, after to shout for something (a plectrum, for example), Kyle, the keyboardist, went to the public and gave me the playlist :DDDDDDDD

I can’t forget the details of this day, and every time that I listen to a song of the concert I remember this day.

A place to stay on

Hi classmates!

Today I will talk about a country that I would like to visit, this country is Italy. 

Lately, Italy has been in my mind because in this days, in the middle of my career, constantly, people talk about the future; his dreams, places to live, some country to continue university studies, etc. With this, I’m not the exception. Italy appears in my thoughts for two reasons, firstly as a place that was the home to cultures that I love (his history, literature, mythology, philosophy, theatre, etc.) and finally as important place of origin the clinics techniques of systemic psychology.

About the country, only know his Ancient history (literature and philosophy specifically) and Modern history, but about the contemporary history or his recent events don’t have idea.   

In first place, if I will arrive in Italy my only thought would be visit several places and learn about these. After that, I would like to study a couple of years a master or PhD.

Honestly, when I started to study deeply, for a year, the idea begin to appear, but now, with the need to go to a place for continue studies the idea took on straight :P

Last entrance

Classmates, today is the last day that we use the blog for the English class and I believe that is appropriate to write about the experience using this virtual tool. In the first place, I think that it was an entertaining activity, because we had to write about different things that make us ask about topics that involve us, and for this reason it was interesting to do the activity. 

Additionally, about the writing skills, I believe that the homework help us to develop this skill, also to order our ideas in English and in a paragraph with sense. I think that the blog make possible the work of taking our ideas (in Spanish) and put them in place. This requires some formality, coherence and the vocabulary, it is the effort to do a text in English and the effort to express correctly the ideas.

Talking to the things that this activity could include in the future, the blog can be a space that allows to mix not only one skill, for example, could gather written texts, videos, podcasts, papers in English, etc.Also, it can include work in group in some posts, because we produce knowledge about the vocabulary, writing,  English grammar and several kinds of learning with another classmate.     

Finally, I'm very satisfied with the activity that we did in this semester, with the skill that we are developing and with the moments in that we made an entrance, it was really entertaining.  

We miss the casino

Today, in the faculty, we have several problems, once of this is the need for a casino, because from this year the faculty is working in the new building for teachers and the investigation courses. This latter, caused that the casino's space be used by the machins. 

About the need of a casino, I don't used it everyday, but with the closure of this I realised that the casino was more important, in our daily rutine, that we used to think, because with my friends suffered for have to go to anothers faculties in the campus, in this way we lost too much time walking for buy a lunch. 

The antecedents are not too encouraging, because we have the experience with the classroom block and it was very bad. For this I suppose that with the new Social Sciences's building it will not different. But sometimes I believe that this situation can change and I hope that be in this way.

My godson

Today is the day to talk about my tiny, beauty and loving godson Bruno.

Bruno appeal touches the lives of my family the 13th September of 2012, he is the Macarena's son, my cousin. When he was born my life change totally, I was very excited with his birth, I search clothes, toys, etc....everything could be perfect for him, I lived in Bruno's mode, today is the same, but in a reasonable form.

Everytime that I visit him I love play with him, reading stories or simply see as he sleep.

This year, Bruno entered ti kindergarten, is in medio menor level with another twenty children. He go to his class at 8.30 in the morning and comes home at 4 in the afternoon. With his entrance he start to taking, and today keeps talking all day. He has good memory, he remember the names of every family member, recognise several animals, transports, different objects of the home, etc.

Finally, I can say that Bruno is a member so special in the family, he brought happiness and love for our lifes and everyday with his smile change our rutines. 

CFG: El Ser Humano como Buscador de Sentido

Today I want to write about a subject that I took this semester, is a general formation course of the philosophical area, as I say in the title, it is called "El Ser Humano como buscador de Sentido".
In February, when I took the course I was so excited to learn about this topic, the description of contents attracted my attention, for example we learnt a bit about the existential and metaphysical dimension of the sense and no sense. But in April, when the first classes started everything changed, the class was so so so boring.

Nevertheless, I write about the subject because yesterday the class was amazing...this class was of the classes in that you leave the classroom thinking about the topic, later in the bus you continue thinking about that, etc. So, yesterday the topic was how we give sense to several ideas or belief depending on the culture, but specifically how the idea of immortality, finite and death give us sense in the present. But the previous is not the only that I like of the last class, also too many people spoke to give their opinions and to discuss the thoughts of others classmates.

Playing to take pictures

Today I chose a picture to talk about it. In the first place, I don't remember who took the picture, maybe my little brother, maybe me, because we take turns. The picture shows the moon, in a night with full moon and it was taken in the summer of 2011. This photo doesn't have a good quality or an especial technique, but I like it very much because I remember when I lived with my brother and we looked through his telescope. We took some pictures of the moon but almost handmade, because we placed the camera over the viewfinder of the telescope and took the photo. As I said before, we took turns, meanwhile one was holding the telescope the other took the picture, and we could be there so much time... all night long. Now, I don't live with my brother, but when I look at this photo or another that we have taken, I feel like I was playing with him again.
